The media center staff loves to have a change of scenery! While we are keeping the animal cell projects in the fiction section, check out the posters for Red Ribbon Week! They are featured on our doors and in the reference section. Thank you to the hard-working students who encourage us all to remain aware of consequences and choose to be....DRUG FREE!!!!
Thanks to our resident media assistant, Mrs. Howard, for always coming up with great ideas to keep our minds fresh! This month, students are guessing how many items of the following are filling a jar...witches' warts, ghost poop, and jack-o-lantern teeth. Will your class be the winner? We certainly hope so! Also, don't miss out on our incredible projects from 5th grade science classes. Wow!! Now, that's what I call a "wild" animal cell! Thanks to all the fifth grade students and teachers for allowing us to feature their hard work in the media center. Come and see us again soon!
Actually, there really isn't that much "old" stuff to get rid of! But, the media center has recently acquired a lot of brand new books from Scholastic and other sources. I look forward to filling the shelves with nonfiction and series favorites. Two words for the girls: Dork Diaries. Need I say more? :)
As always, we accept donations of gently-used books from your home libraries. Donations become property of the media center and will be used in any manner deemed appropriate according to collection policy. |
